Woke up this morning with the feeling that spring is coming, and then trudged into several inches of snow to break the water for the cows.
Casper wants to be in the middle of everything. Dogs, cows, chickens, UTVs, moving fence... does not matter, he’s going to be there. He finally got brave enough to join in on a pasture walk and guess what! He hated it.
Ned Yost doesn’t like being in the middle of things. Hates being indoors. He loves the old barn - comes and goes as he pleases. Successfully trained us to come to him when he wants attention by jumping onto the barn door and yelling at us. Has several bales of hay in the loft that are earmarked for his use only. He’s built quite a nice life for himself, really, especially considering how anxious (and mean) he was when he first came home from the shelter.
Decidedly not where she is supposed to be.
The cows spoil him, the heifers push him around.
A few minutes later, the cows attention shifted and Casper was bereft at the lack of attention.
